Description
The first in my series of fairies that represent the elements of the periodic table. I have plans on doing all of them. That's right. All 100+ of them.
Hydrogen, the purplish-pink gas that glows in nebulas and burns within the Sun, is light, simple, and easy to figure out in terms of energy structure. She can rightfully be called the mother of all elements, for all other elements were born out of the hot fusion of Hydrogen inside massive stars, and yet she is still the most abundant element in the universe. She is also abundant on Earth, although seldom found in pure form, but as a constituent in the chemical structure of water and many other compounds, most particularly compounds that form the building blocks of life, such as sugars, proteins, lipids, and DNA, along with Carbon, Oxygen, Nitrogen, and others.
